Evolving Evolutionary Algorithms

The purpose of this research is to obtain better Evolutionary Algorithms.

Instead of writing an EA by hand, we let the evolution to discover one.

We have developed several Evolutionary Algorithms which evolve other Evolutionary Algorithms.

Three main approaches have been proposed so far:

    MEP-based approach,

    LGP-based approach,

    MEP-based approach for evolving evolutionary patterns.
